Dochula

After Thimphu, while moving towards the Punaka, around 27 KM away from Thimphu Dochula exists, which has 108 stupas. These stupas were built by Her Majesty the Queen Mother in the honor of His Majesty 4th King and people for their victory in war and for peace and prosperity of the Country. This war was in Southern Bhutan, during 2003. One side of these stupas very good panoramic view of Himalayas is available.
